-The future of the Department of Geography Education: Nurturing world-class experts in geography

In the age of globalization, there is a growing interest in region, space and place. With the surge in demand for geographic information, geography education contributes significantly to the development of humanity. Experts who possess geographic knowledge and insights are essential in national administrative institutions, broadcasting companies and general businesses. Graduates of the department will enjoy diverse career opportunities as the interest in urban planning and regional development is rising and businesses are expanding overseas. Graduates who have become geography educators have developed their own teaching materials and are actively participating in professional development to learn more effective ways to inspire study in geography. The world is vast, and there is still much to be done.
